Operational Framework - Second Draft


Almost all electric sockets in the AS Lobby of UP Cebu is occupied by laptop chargers of different students from different courses but mostly dominated by Computer Science students. The said situation shows the perception of Computer Science students.
            This study would first aim to measure the number of hours of computer usage of the selected students studying Computer Science. Measurement on school usage and home usage shall be separated since more home usage or school usage might affect differently the response of the students.
            A test will then measure the retention ability of second year Computer Science students of UP Cebu. The student’s response or retention ability is dependent on time as what was shown on the previously presented theories, based on this, the relationship of the number of hours of computer usage(both from home and school) and the results in the retention ability test which is also varied by different time intervals shall be measured and certain correlations shall be observed.
            Other factors shall also be regarded, specifically the teacher and the way he interacts with the students, the environment and how it affects the students, and finally, the topic if it interests the student.
            The abovementioned flow of the basic operations of study is effectively shown in Figure 3 on the next page, as the researchers have logically formulated and revealed.
